DAV Patiala today joined hands & took initiative to save the environment by raising global awareness about taking positive actions to protect nature and planet earth by planting saplings in front of the school boundary so as to communicate the message of keeping our “Environment Clean and Green”.

During this purposeful drive around 30 teachers including Co-ordinators, Advisors, House In-charges, Sub In-charges and ECO Club Head alongwith 50 volunteers enthusiastically participated in this mission to maintain the beauty of green environment.

Principal S. R. Prabhakar alongwith his noble wife Mrs. Saroj Prabhakar while himself taking initiative by planting saplings said that, “Our life is dependent to the environment, our basic needs all depends upon it. Human Society is playing vital role in degenerating the natural environment. So, it is moral duty of every citizen of planet earth to seize such kind of activities and to protect, safeguard it”.

On this day Sh. Vijay Goel, President of Patiala Welfare Society was also present on the day. He appreciated the efforts made by the students in ‘Go Green Drive’.
