Health Awareness Seminar held at DAV Public School Patiala
 

‘You can control your asthma’ with this underlying idea today DAV Public School Patiala organized health awareness seminar in its premises .To make the students familiar with Asthma today Cipla Group showed movie ‘Jeet Jayenge Hum’ to the students. Dr. Hemant Tuli (MD – Pediatrics) explained the students about symptoms, cure and prevention of this disease. He gave demo on the usage of inhalers.

Later on students of 10+2 (Medical) visited Columbia Asia along with Dr. Sonia Medical Officer of the school and Ms. Anita Kataria. Dr. Bhawna (Dietician) of Columbia Asia Hospital explained the students about balanced and nutritious diet. She also stressed that students should follow food pyramid. Today’s seminar was conducted in collaboration with Simply Health Plus Pvt. Ltd, Panchkula. Acting Principal Anita Kataria thanked the guest doctors for imparting useful knowledge to the students. She also encouraged the students to lead a healthy way of life as ‘Healthy Mind Lives in Healthy Body’
