In order to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Indian educationist and founder of DAV School who worked tirelessly for the social upliftment – ‘Mahatma Hansraj’ Today DAV Patiala organized a special vedic Hawan Yajna in its premises.To make the program more devotional, melodious Bhajan  ‘Data Tere Sumarian Ka…., Sharan Mein Aaye Hain Hum….., Prabhu ji kya Bhent Dharu……. were sung by the members of staff .

The beautiful recitation of Bhajan not only added devotion to the event rather it also stirred emotional tribute of DAV ians to this legendary figure . Speaking on the occasion Principal Vivek Tiwari quoted ‘Mahatma Hansraj is a true epitome of self-sacrifice, he was a true social worker, who advocated many social concerns. His life journey sets high standards for every human being, his ideologies are the true torch bearers to lead optimum level of contentment. The event was virtually witnessed by large number of parents and students .The day was also exclusive  as this large number of gathering on this special day was virtually addressed by prominent Arya samajist and spiritual figure Swami Videh Yogi ji , who not only shared the anecdotes from the courageous and devoted life of Mahatma Hansraj ji but also shared how he was true son of the Indian soil , who toiled hard for the upliftment of human race .
