CHRISTMAS FERVOUR BRIMS AT D.A.V PATIALA

The Global festival of ‘Christmas’ associated with merry making fun & laughter commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ was celebrated with great mirth in D.A.V premises during this event tiny tots of preprimary and primary wing of the school dressed up in colorful ‘attires, mangers and slings placed during the festivity were adding more hues to this celebration.

The programme commended with the floral welcome of the chief guest Sh. S.R. Prabhakar along with Ms. Saroj Prabhakar by the preprimary staff. Later the platter of the festivity kick started with a beautiful presentation by the toddlers of nursery class, twisting their feet on symbolic “Happiest Christmas Tree Song”.  Students of LKG class presented a cheerful dance number on blissful traditional & customary character of this festival identified as Santa Claus. It followed with peppy expressive dance number during which young students of class I wished for fortunate new year. The choreography presented by students of UKG class on the song ‘Aao Tumhe Chand Pe Le Jayein….’ truly took the audience in another swing of mood.

The plethora of enjoyment concluded with heart touching choreography “Christmas Party Rocks” where the students of class II depicted the true motive behind this cultural & religious festival. While wishing the staff & student on this occasion Principal S.R. Prabhakar quoted that ‘‘Christmas is the festival which is not only connected with the spreading of the message of the brotherhood rather it is significant event to exchange the mutual feelings of affection’’ The purpose behind such celebration is to give apt platform to express the bond of love for each other. He appreciated the efforts made by teachers for engaging the large strength of students in the celebration. He also presented his greetings on the prosperous new year 2018.
