In order to aware the students with heinous and life threatening disease AIDS ,today DAV Patiala organized an interactive seminar during which Dr. Mohanvir Kaur (Astt. Prof. Rajindra Medical College Patiala) while interacting with the students forecasted the detailing and awareness about the symptoms, causes , and preventive measures . She stressed on the use of disposable syringes.

The Programme was also supported by Dr. Sonia (Medical Officer of the school) wherein her address she threw light on the deadly disease and quoted that this destructive disease can only be fought with compassionated attitude towards the victims, since it does not get transferred through physical touch like hugging and sharing one’s belongings.

While thanking the resource person Principal SR  Prabhakar motivated the students to join hands to fight, protect, give loved ones a healthy tomorrow and to possess empathy and sympathy for the suffers of this life eating parasite, he also added that this disease does not discriminate between young or old , it can turn heroes into zeroes.

Later the programme concluded with the presentation of Memento and bunch of flowers to the resource person by Ms. Upasana Madaan. Ms. Neera Khurana (HOD Science) presented vote of thanks.
