Today an educative and informative First Aid Lecture was demonstrated in DAV Patiala premises. During which Dr. Vikas Goyal (General Physician) from Mata Kaushalya Hospital and Sh. Kaka Ram, Chief Trainer Red Cross Society demonstrated number of ways to educate the 250 students of Class V about First Aid measures which can be adopted to save a life. Dr. Vikas Goyal rose the interest of the young students and guided them about CPR which could be provided to the patient in case of emergency arriving due to cardiac problem, students were also given demonstration about first aid which can be given during fracture and bleeding.

Offg. Principal Mrs. Neera Khurana appreciated the campaign and motivated the students to embrace the measures in case of emergency. She quoted that the best service we can provide to human life is to save it at times. Situations arise when a bit of effort can act as life saver for anyone, so the young generation should be awared about First Aid so that they can put their share in this mission of saving precious human life. This activity was conducted by Rotary Club, Thapar University, and in collaboration with Simply Health Plus Ltd.
