DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL PATIALA proudly hosted its  Alumni Meet-24  in  its campus. The event brought together esteemed alumni, faculty, and current students for an evening of nostalgia, networking, and celebration.
The Alumni Meet aimed to Reconnect with alumni, sharing updates and achievements, to Foster mentorship opportunities for current students,Strengthen ties between the school and its global alumni network. Alumni Meet started with traditional Gyatri mantra,School prayer and DAV Anthem followed by News, Thought,Topic discussion and National Anthem by Alumni  that brought them  back to their school days  . lighting of lamp on Holy Mantras was performed as it is a tradition of  DAV Institutions.Principal Mr Vivek Tiwari welcomed the distinguished alumni from batches 1993 to 2023 and shared about International and National Accolades and achievements of the  school. Alumni shared their school memories with all and paid gratitude to their Alma Mater for instilling high  value system , integrity, honesty, discipline, compassion that helped them to touch heights of success in their lives . Students presented Durga Stuti in  dance form to invoke the blessings of Ma Durga. In Inauguration function School students Aastik and Shiv presented fabulous and melodious songs under the able guidance of Mr Rahul & Mr Rajat .Girl students from 6 and 7 class exhibited excellent Sufi dance and duet dance under mentorship of Mam Asha .Classical dance of Alumna Surbhi was really enthralling and mesmerizing. Stunning and captivating dances  entranced everyone and left them spell bound. Fun games played by Mam Priya Kapoor with alumni , left  everyone full of joy and laughter.
Hot Seat question answers asked by Mrs Kirandeep Kaur and Ms. Geeta Sharma reminisced the alumni Nostalgic about their memories with school and teachers . Winners of games and participants of different activities were awarded with prizes ,mementos and certificates. Eminent personality of patiala, renowned Neurologist and school alumnus Dr Puneet Phull was also present on the occasion and shared how school helped him in shaping his career. Every one tapped his feet on beat of bhangra presented by 10 and 11 th class girls prepared by Ms. Kuldeep Kaur. Punjabi songs of Alumnus Harvinder Singh who sang for Eminent singer Sh Amrinder Gill in Punjabi movie triggered every one, for exhuberant, electrifying and vibrant bhangra.Kirandeep Kaur Convenor Alumni Committee said  in her vote of thanks "We're thrilled to welcome back our accomplished alumni, inspiring our students and reinforcing our school's legacy."Principal Mr Vivek Tiwari said "This meet reinforces our commitment to lifelong connections and mutual support between Organisation and it's Illustrious Alumni." Alumni were honoured with gifts also.Mrs Anu Tiwari was also present on the occasion.Aumni from abroad who couldn't come also sent their heartfelt feelings through their messages in videos, played by Ms. Radhika & Ms. Kamini   on the screen.The whole event was efficiently anchored by Ms. Vidhu Kaushik.
