In a  heartfelt ceremony held at DAV Public School Patiala, the school bid an emotional farewell  party --  Sayonara Soiree  to its outgoing class 12th on 1st February 2025. The farewell party organised by the school staff and class 11th students, marked a significant milestone in the lives of the  young graduates as a prepare to embark on the next chapter of their academic and personal journeys. The event was a vibrant celebration filled with music, speeches and heartfelt moments. The students came up with a series of fun-filled activities, including performances, games showcasing  memorable moments from their school life. The program commenced  with formal welcome of chief guest Principal Vivek Tiwari and Mrs Anu Tiwari as guest  of honour. Hundreds of balloons, tradition at the school, were released in the sky thereby wishing the students reach the zenith of their chosen field. The ambience reverberated  with enthusiasm as the extravaganza began  with mellifluous medley presented by the budding singers followed by the scintillating choreography on a number of peppy  songs. The highlight of the day was the ramp walk by the outgoing class on the pulsating music which was adjudged by Mrs.Inderbir Marya and Mrs.Anu Tiwari.

The shortlisted candidates were further adjudged  on their  talents and quick wittedness  in prop round and question round respectively.
Reminiscing about shared experiences , creating and atmosphere of joy, nostalgia and anticipation for the next chapter in their life the students from class 12th came together to present a formal vote of thanks. As a token of appreciation, the school presented the students with personalised  momentos to remind them of their time at school. The highlight of the event was the speech delivered by Principal Vivek Tiwari, who praised the hard work, dedication and achievements of class 12th students and wished them  success in all their future endeavours. The event concluded with the  declaration of result as follows
From boys category,Diveshwar Singh was declared as 2nd runner up,Dakshdeep got the honour of 1st runner up and Onkar Singh Khattra was declared as Mr.DAV, likewise from girl's category,Parimita was declared as 2nd runner up,Hariti as 1st runner up and Vanshika Sharma was declared as Ms DAV .
Principal Vivek Tiwari commended the effects of senior secondary department under the guidance of Mr Pankaj Sharma for organising such a memorable farewell party, emphasing the importance of fostering a supportive and close -knit school community. The event  not only bid  farewell to 12th class but also reinforce the sense of unity and friendship that defines the experience.
