In a vibrant celebration of ancient traditions and cultural unity, the 51 Kundiya Hawan Yajna was successfully organized at DAV Patiala The event brought together students from board classes, educators, and  guests for a day dedicated to the rejuvenation of time-honored practices and values.

The ceremonial hawan, characterized by the lighting of 51 sacred kundiyas (fire pits), was led by eminent ritual experts who emphasized the spiritual and educational significance of the practice. The ritual, deeply rooted in Vedic tradition, served not only as a means to invoke divine blessings but also as an experiential learning platform for young minds. Students actively participated in the ritual, gaining first-hand exposure to the rich tapestry of cultural practices that have been passed down through generations.
 The participation of as many as 1000 board class students underscored the event’s dual objective of imparting spiritual values alongside academic pursuits.

Retired teachers of the school Ms.Harjeet Kaur,Ms Neera khurana,Ms.Prem Verma ,Ms Meenu Bhalla and Ms.Rajneet Kaur also joined this pious occasion and said 'The 51 Kundiya Hawan Yajna is part of a broader initiative to revive and celebrate indigenous rituals'.  Pradhan of Arya Samaj Mr.Raj Kumar Singla.and Ms.Anu tiwari also graced the occasion and extended their best wishes to the students for upcoming board exams.Ms .Vidhu Kaushik was the anchor of the day.
