With this motive under 14 girls grabbed silver medal and under 14 boys bagged gold medal in sahodaya handball tournament held in Saint Xavier international School Patiala . On the other hand,
Football is the most beautiful sport in the world is often what is said, and this is something that was evident in the inter house football tournament held in physical College among the four houses of DAV Public School Patiala. The weather was just right for a football match and amidst cheers  and enthusiasm the four house teams(Mahatma Hansraj house, Maharshi Dayanand house, Swami Vivekananda house and Gurudev Tagore House) competed in the tournament tremendously well. There was an air of excitement and determination to make it to the victory stands amongst the students.
The result was as follows.
First position was bagged by Maharishi Dayanand house and the runner up was Swami Vivekananda house.
Principal Vivek Tiwari congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts put in by Mr Lal Singh ,Mrs Nitima, Mrs Pooja Rao and Mr Kartik ( the sports department) of the school. He emphasised on the importance of sports. He said that if there is one field life which teaches as perseverance, patience and a perfect character, it is sports.
