DAV Public School, Patiala a renowned institution dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusivity in education, recently conducted a highly successful Punjabi Workshop for dedicated team of educators. The workshop aimed to equip teachers with valuable insights into Punjabi culture, language, and traditions, further enriching their ability to provide a well-rounded education to students of all backgrounds.

The Punjabi Workshop, brought together teachers from various disciplines, creating a vibrant atmosphere of cultural exchange and learning. With expert facilitators and native Punjabi speakers, S. Manjit Singh (Resource Person), eminent guests of the day Dr.Harjit Singh (Chief Guest),Dr. Tejinder Kaur (Chief Guest) ,Dr. Darshan Singh Aasht (Chief Guest), Mr Piyush Khanna (Director) and Mr. Mukesh Makkar (ASM),Ms.Anu Tiwari ( guest of honor)the workshop was a comprehensive and engaging experience for all participants.

As many as 112 teachers of Patiala Sahodya Schools received immersive language training, covering essential Punjabi phrases, greetings and conversational skills. This linguistic exposure will enable educators to connect with Punjabi-speaking students more effectively.

The workshop delved into the rich tapestry of Punjabi traditions, festivals, and customs. Teachers gained a deeper understanding of the cultural nuances, helping them foster a more inclusive classroom environment.

Mr.Vivek Tiwari, President Patiala Sahodya Complex, expressed his enthusiasm for the workshop, saying, "We believe that understanding and appreciating different cultures is essential for creating an inclusive educational environment.
