DAV Public School,Patiala  is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of its highly informative workshop on "Cyber Safety and Security." , the workshop aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical strategies to navigate the digital landscape safely and securely.This Capacity Building Programme was conducted under the aegis of CBSE COE,Chandigarh .As many as 45 teachers from CBSE Schools from Patiala and surrounding areas attended this workshop.
Under the able guidance of experienced cyber security experts and resource persons of the day Ms. Sneh Lata from St. Anne’s Convent  and Ms. Urvarshi Nag (Cyber Expert and free lancer ) participants were exposed to real world scenarios. .The workshop featured engaging sessions conducted by experts who shared their insights into the rapidly evolving world of online threats and vulnerabilities. Participants were exposed to a variety of topics, including :understanding the basics of cyber threats and attacks,implementing effective password management and multi-factor authentication,recognizing and avoiding phishing.
The interactive format of the workshop allowed participants to ask questions, share personal experiences, and engage in group discussions, making the learning experience  relevant to real-world scenarios.Applauding the efforts of Ms.Upasana Madan ( Training Incharge ) on successful conduction of the workshop Principal Vivek Tiwari ( President Patiala Sahodya Complex)said that In today’s interconnected world, cybersecurity is a crucial skill that one must possess .This workshop is a step towards fostering responsible digital citizens .
