To apprise and aware the students of the Senior secondary students about various career options available to them, DAV Public School, Patiala organized a Lecture Cum Presentation by an eminent educationist Dr. Neeraj Goyal, Associate Professor and Head Of Department- Career Counselling at Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala.

During his opening address, he quoted “ The students are at the threshold of choosing the right career and it is of paramount importance to decide the future course of action after due deliberation and consideration. He emphasized on developing the skills and highlighted on acquiring career special skills for soaring high in their respective chosen fields “. The students were shown statistical data of various options and avenues available to them in India and abroad. He concluded that the three areas of a student's life which affect the career choices are environment, opportunity, and personality and all these have varying roles to play in a student’s life.

“Choosing a career based on your passion will allow you to comfortably settle in your career and excel while overcoming challenges with minimum effort”, said Principal Vivek Tiwari while expressing his gratitude to Dr. Neeraj Goyal for such an enriching session. A plant was presented to the keynote speaker to thank him.
