To commemorate the sacrifice and to pay homage to the great freedom fighters Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, DAV Public School, Patiala paid a floral tribute to the great revolutionaries and brave hearts of Indian Soil. Principal Vivek Tiwari along with staff members also paid obeisance to the legendary Nationalists. It followed with the soul stirring patriotic songs ‘Mera Rang De Basanti Chola ‘and ‘Mere Veer Bhagat Singh Nu’. The entire ambience reverberated with the slogans of ‘Inqilab Zindabad’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ which further ingrained the values of patriotism in everyone present there.

Principal while addressing the staff members saluted the invincible spirit of the immortal martyrs for giving up their lives during freedom struggle so that subsequent generations could live in peace and prosperity. He further said that we as educators should impress upon the youth of our country the ideologies of such freedom fighters and enunciate their perception of free India. He also added that we should be morally upright to stand for the security, freedom and integrity of our nation and that would be our true homage to the legendary martyrs.
