Amidst great splendor mirth and Zest, kindergarten DAV Public School, Patiala celebrated its Annual function – “Aashayein… Back to the Roots” for pre-primary section of the school. The program was graced by Mrs. P. Sofat, Manager of the school as the Chief Guest of the Day whereas many principals from various reputed Pre-Schools were also present on the day. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of lamp of knowledge by various dignitaries. Later all the distinguished guests were welcomed formally. It followed by the recitation of DAV Anthem so as to salute the DAV spirit. A musical feast ‘Vandana’ presented by the tiny tots truly invoked the blessings of the Almighty hence giving an apt start to the plethora of events.

The august gathering was given warm welcome by the teeny weenies of Class Nursery with their spectacular performance. Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate the love of God and to create memories that last forever. With the same zeal and enthusiasm students of class LKG presented a marvellous show hence greeting everybody for festival. The birth of Jesus and Christmas joys portrayed the idea that true celebration of life is manifested in spending life in healthy, harmonious and pleasant manner.

The play presented by the class II truly depicted the bond between the grandparents and children., students of class II also stunned everyone to the core with their twisting feet on melodious songs and dialogues . Their elements of energy and momentum could be witnessed in the ambience , when the students of class I presented foot tapping Bhangra.

Principal Vivek Tiwari  while addressing the large gathering of parents, students and staff members expressed that “It gives him immense pleasure to witness such kind of breathtaking performances , the extravaganza has not only set the out and out celebration fervour but such kind of gala events are highly required to tap the latent talent of the young prodigies , such ventures are apt bridge to connect the young students to their roots” .He further appreciated teachers of pri primary for putting up such an outstanding show. Ms. Inderbir Marya ( co ordinator pre primary )presented formal vote of thanks.
