"To hone the self confidence and to instill the virtues of discipline , social skills , patience , perservance, leadership and teamwork " DAV Patiala Athletic meet is organised , with the prime motive of preparing the students to win " were the key words of Principal Vivek Tiwari while addressing the august gathering of 500 sports stars and teachers. During this prestigious venture 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1500 meters of track and field events were organised such as Long Jump, Shortput, Discus Throw in Senior, Junior as well as Sub-Junior Categories. The meet was declared open by Principal Vivek Tiwari.

Results of the events are as such:

Maharishi Dayanand House secured I Position with 294 points and Swami Vivekananda House giving cut throughout competition with 287 points stood at II Position and Mahatma Hansraj House secured 281 points stood at III Position.
