One of the most sacred occasion i.e. the Birth Anniversary of great saint, preacher, poet and the founder of Sikhism Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated with great religious fervour in the school premises.

The program commenced with the mass recitation of pious Japji Sahib, it followed with Shabad Gayan organised under the guidance of Ms. Rajneet Kaur H.O.D Music along with  mellifluous singers presented harmonious Shabads such as ‘Sat Guru Nanak Pratigya Miti…..’, ‘Jo Mange Thakur Apne Te…’,  Gurmukh Kal vich…’, ‘Kal taran Guru Nanak Aaya’….which took the August gathering to another serenity.

Principal Vivek Tiwari while addressing the sangat quoted that the teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji truly guide us the spiritual path and the true spiritual growth which can only be achieved by walking on his footsteps. He was a messenger of peace and equality he denounced the caste system, superstition and women equality a much ahead of his time.

The program concluded with the distribution of Prasad and the echoes of Bole So Nihaal, Sat Shri Akal.
