Model United Nations - a Two Day Conference was organized in the premises of DAV Public School, Patiala. About 250 students and teachers from many CBSE affiliated schools from Punjab, Samana, Rajpura , Amritsar etc acting as Delegates representing various Nations across the world enthusiastically participated and convincingly expressed their thoughts.

The various committees – All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM) started their session by throwing light on Deliberation on electoral reforms with special emphasis on feasibility of on nation one election. The members had a detailed discussion on the pros and corns of it. Another Committee – United Nations Commission on Status of Women (UNCSW) talked about Protecting rights of refugee women against trafficking and sexual exploitation . The members of (UNHRC) dialogued on Protecting human rights during conflicts situations . Last but not the least UNSC i.e United Nations security council put forth the discussion on deliberation regarding functioning of NATO in light of Ukraine Russian war.

While congratulating on the success of this Mega Event, Principal Vivek Tiwari regulating such an endeavor is a small step to infuse confidence, leadership amongst the young students. The program concluded with the presentation of mementoes to the winners. The mega event was organized under the guidance of Ms. Geeta Sharma (HOD SST and Social Science faculty) . The event was sponsored by  Lakshaya Institute , Achievers and Mathematical Zone.
