The Festival of Lights was celebrated with the great festive vigour in DAV premises. The school premises decked up in the colours of Diwali presented picturesque view.

The special day began with special morning assembly during which chief guest Me. Vivek Tiwari and Guest of honour Ms Anu Tiwari were warmly welcomed by the school staff. The plethora of events moved with pious Stuti Vandana, so as to invoke the blessings of almighty, the dance prayer truly touched every heart and made every head bow with obeisance in front of supreme power . The marvellous presentation was prepared under the guidance of Ms Asha. Later the team of budding singers presented a special song on Diwali , they were prepared by the music department of the school .The highlight of the venture stood when tiny tots of pre primary twisted their feet and enthralled everyone in audience , hence wishing them a prosperous festival .Principal Vivek Tiwari applauded the effort made by the teachers and students for embellishing the morning assembly , thus starting the  celebration with an aplomb . During this day DAV result bulletin 2021-22 spotlighting the academic achievements of the students was also released. Later eco club of the school , under the guidance of Ms . Madhu Khanna gave the message of clean, green and safe Deepawali through the display of banners, a pledge was also administered by Principal Vivek Tiwari to these volunteers , so as to always safeguard the mother planet earth. They also took out a rally for the mission of saving planet. On this day a Rangoli competition was also organised, many corners of the school were decorated in the beautiful hues of Rangoli ,this aesthetic competition was won by Guru Dev Tagore house, II position was taken by Maharishi Dayanand house and III position was taken by Hansraj house.

Behind time the caravan moved with an outstanding celebration for the staff during which , principal along with the staff performed ‘Deep Daan’ ceremony , praying and wishing  everyone for a bright festival . To make the bash more zealous many Games were organised by Ms Urminder and Ms Shaily Luthra . Ms Bipasana Bandhu spellbound the august gathering with her tuneful performance.

Principal Vivek Tiwari while congratulating everyone on the festival of light quoted that Diwali is a festival of light , hope and prosperity, where the vigour and enthusiasm of the people is justified. It is one of the most religious festival celebrated by all religions with various significance, but every religion commemorates the triumph of good over evil , light over darkness , hence it teaches us to become outright human beings and to reside with love and brotherhood. The program concluded with the distribution of the present and the formal Vote of Thanks was presented by Ms Kirandeep Bawa. The successful gala of events was accomplished with laughter, fun and learning.
