While raising concern on the importance of health, DAV Public School Patiala organised series of activities on the theme for this year's World Health Day is “Our Planet, Our Health". These activities were conducted so as to put forth the idea of health amid the ongoing pandemic and pollution growing on the planet, and due to rapid increase in the diseases like cancer, asthma, and heart diseases. The program commenced with staging of a convincing play wherein students of classes VI and VII while presenting their knack portrayed a beautiful depiction on the said issue. The play was prepared under the guidance of Ms Monika Sharma. In order to give more meaning to the day slogan writing for as many as 400 students of classes IX and X was organised , aesthetic and catchy slogans written by creative minds beautifully highlighted the theme of health and cleanliness. In addition to it a team from Sadguru threw light on how by saving our soil one can contribute in saving the planet, hence making it a joyous healthy place for existing.

Principal Vivek Tiwari while appreciating the efforts made by the school staff quoted that such useful and meaningful activities should always be part of curriculum, as such awareness programs can play great part in bringing in best virtuous citizens who value the importance of healthy planet and healthy life.
