In order to hone the scientific temperament of the students which is ingenious mission under Niti Ayog, it is worth mentioning that this prestigious venture of opening Atal tinkering labs is a centre Government initiative with the motive to provide an apt platform to facilitate the students with innovative approach and entrepreneurship.

It is matter of great pride for the city Patiala that DAV Public Patiala became the first CBSE school to serve such a podium for the promotion of the world class innovative hubs, grand challenges. The program commenced with ,in yet another unique manner when a Robot along with Principal Vivek Tiwari and Ms Anu Tiwari  presented a welcome note while welcoming Dr Punam Suri ( President DAV CAE) ,it followed by exuberant floral welcome  and enchanted Vedic mantras, in order to seek divine graces, by a Robot ,herein after the program moved  with the ceremonial Tilak ceremony and ribbon cutting by honourable chief guest, he formally inaugurated the Atal Tinkering Lab by raising the curtain . The series of event moved with the lighting of lamp . To make the venture more pious a group of students presented mesmerising Vandana with the motive to invoke the blessings of almighty . Later chief guest was given a tour to Atal tinkering lab, he observed the working of the lab and also interacted with the students , a team of participants also prepared model replica of Dr Punam Suri on 3 D printer , which further added to his happiness on seeing such massive growth of the school . He also witnessed the exhibition exhibiting the skill of the students . While appreciating and congratulating the efforts made by Principal Vivek Tiwari and Ms Neera Khurana incharge (ATL)and staff members for the new heightening of the school he quoted that  creativity is thinking up  new things and innovation is doing new things ,The lab is an approach of Central government of India to create an environment of scientific temperament, innovation, creativity amongst Indian Students. It is a step towards a new India. ATL lab would teach students essential 21st-century skills which will help them in developing their professional and personal skills. Skilled India is the need of the hour and each step taken this dream should be welcomed and we should work towards it together for a better India .He urged students to make best use of this lab and wished all the success for their future endeavors,”
